KLZ Roofing specializes in repairing exiting soffit, or complete new soffit installations. A "Soffit" describes the underside of any roof where the overhanging roof leaves the rafters exposed, bridging the gap between a home's siding and the roofline. Basically the exposed underside of any exterior overhanging section of a roof eave. Typically the soffit is made of aluminum and finished by a fascia. Soffits typically have holes to allow proper ventilation across the attic.
The "Fascia" is a wood or aluminum surface that finishes the connection between the soffit and the roof. Our "fascia board" caps the end of rafters outside a building, and can be color matched to the Soffit.
